I can honestly say I know only two names, and one more as being the US Attorney in NY then her present position.

I have heard of three of them. One I follow on Twitter, another I receive their newsletter, and the third is the SEC chair.
My top people in accounting are those who actively contribute here on Proformative, especially you, Wayne. Emerson too. Your knowledge, expertise, and often comical responses are very helpful.
