Can anyone recommend an excellant bank rec software package for multiple accounts into large GL where accounting package does not allow downloads from bank?

I'll assume your GL has no feature to import bank activity (e.g. BAI files, csv or ofx format files), but that you can export GL data from your bank accounts into a file that can be used by reconciliation software. That said, Chesapeake Solutions has been around for some time, see http://chessys.com.
Also look at Blackline www.blackline.com, Smartstream www.smartstream-stp.com.

Adra Match - Works well and you can buy extra "modules" for different needs e.g. mgt. reporting etc. So you can get a Bank Rec Stand alone, or you can actually use if for your entire Balance Sheet too. and a Reporting Module will give you nice graphics for presentation etc. for Month / Quarter Closes if neede.
