All, I am looking for a way to show business unit directors an income statement of their unit's financial performance (tracked with QB Class), either in real time, or exported/email to them daily. We use QB Enterprise Desktop and have the current version. There isn't a way to limit an actual QB user account to seeing one class only, which is required in this instance, so we're limited to some kind of export or 3rd party solution. Anyone have any ideas on how I can do this? Kind thanks, Jason

Before i answer your question in right direction, interpreting your question, you have multiple class created in QB and while bookkeeping process, the QB Class (unit) is considered. You want to restrict a user who can only see One particular QB class?
As you are already aware, QB enterprise does not limit a user to a QB Class (dimension) but it limits to different accounting module (Bank, Vendor, etc.) However just to understand your question precisely, does this user do bookkeeping as well? or is it only about View only access to reports?
There are some apps available who integrate with your quickbooks and can create those smart dashboard for you where you can only see those reports and nothing else.
And if you want your bookkeeper to do bookkeeping just with that one Class, there are some out of books solution for this by having two different QB files and do a consolidation on monthly/quarterly basis and close the period in the "other" qb file. This one may be a practical out of books solution for your situation now. As QB will not let you restrict the bookkeeper not to see any other class.
