Cloud based transactions occur in real-time. For instance, with a Cloud based ERP system the sales transaction posts immediately and anyone can view it by accessing the system or if you choose you can set up alerts for items that are of interest. Alerts can be based on many things including the item sold, sale amount, quantity, etc. Another example is the ability to alert an employee to a specific occurrence - such as placing a customer on credit hold. Another example would be customer support where a customer service rep can be talking with a contact at a specific customer and adding notes to the customer record while at the same time a sales person can be making a sales call and enter his/her notes about the meeting - all these notes can be viewed by others as they are entered.
