Hello everyone, I work in a SaaS company, and would like to know more about this specific case scenario : We have this specific situation where we sometimes offer lower subscription over time (The usage of our software is more prominent in the first year). Example : We sell a three-year subscription to a customer for annual fees of $30,000, $25,000, and $20,000. Can we recognize the $30,000 year 1, $25,000 year 2, and so on... or do we have to recognize an average of $25,000 a year and in this case putting $5k in deferred revenues for the 1st year. If we can recognize $30,000 year 1, is there any specific rules we should follow (Contract modifications?,...) Thank you
