It's just like everything else in business - it always comes back to networking.
The best source for this info is from other companies in your field - see what they are using, how it works for them, how it doesn't, who handles the support, etc. Ideally, if you have a good relationship with competitors, possibly thru an industry association - that's where I'd start. Industry specific trade shows can also be a good source for IT vendors. Or,if you're able, post more specifics about your firm and its needs on Proformative and see what this community suggests.
