We are looking to migrate our QBO to NetSuite ( ie as Intact doesn't seem to be correct solution) and I was wondering if anyone had experience positive/negative with FinancialForce such that we don't rule it out before signing on board with NetSuite Thanks,

Hi Anon,
Your question seems straightforward, however I think you may see that it is really multi-faceted. In terms of "experience positive/negative" are you thinking of:
1. Functional fit-how well does it fit your needs/make your life easier?
2. Technical fit-how does it cope with high volume transactions/ reports; how easy is it to configure user defined fields, how well does it integrate with other systems, etc?
3. Implementation experience-how well did the implementation consultants perform on designing, configuring, migrating data,
4. Cost - how does the solution stack up against the competition, over a 3-5 year period, what costs did you actually save, what benefits did you gain?
5. Legal - how do the contracts compare for service, SLA's, rights of access to data, implementation SOW terms and conditions, etc. SaaS contracts are very different than on premise licensing deals- e.g. in an on premise deal, you can opt to stop paying annual maintenance (not a clever idea, but people still do it!); in a SaaS deal, if you stop paying, you don't get to logon to your software to run your business.
You can also look at https://www.proformative.com/questions/financial-force-reviews which was started a while back, so some changes may have happened since.
Hope that helps!

I am in the process of implementing Financial Force for a client -- a similar circumstance where we found that Intaact did not meet all their needs. It is a bit premature to give a review at this point. What I can say now is to be very clear on the requirements analysis and get all representations/promises in writing -- that has saved us already. I will have more to report in a month or two.
