What is the most cost-effective teleconference service?
Answers
I've used FreeConferenceCall.com. Is it the most cost-effective, that's subjective. It's done what we needed to accomplish (again subjective in nature).
We use Readytalk. Their prices are competitive for teleconference calls, and you can set up multiple access codes and receive a consolidated bill. You can also set up
I use Freeconferencecall.com as well. So far it has been pretty flawless, and compares well to the other services I've tried.
I'd punt skype for them if they offered HK/PRC/Taiwan coverage (they don't). For that I use Skype, but it is definitely sub-par (memory leaks in the app, occasionally patchy connx, voice delays, echos....a very long list...don't get me started on their Android support).
Lucid Meetings is more expensive, but I do use it for one of our companies as it is an actual *solution*, not just a conferencing service. We've been very happy with how robust, feature laden and generally usable it is. Given the theory that time=money, Lucid has paid for itself. FCC does offer screenshare and such for a fee, but this is just an app, not an integrated solution.
Note Lucid is very similar to Readytalk, and the pricing isn't a lot different. Given Kerry's endorsement above, those are the two I would take the time to demo and price if you want more than a partyline.

http://www.rondee.com is another one where you can schedule and have unlimited free conference calls.
