I would refer you to the "The Essential XBRL Quality Checklist" posted after a Proformative
Use an appropriate checklist, which should be available from your outside accountants or any financial reporting service that your company subscribes to. There are different checklists for interim reporting, annual reporting, public companies, etc.
Have someone involved in financial reporting fill out the checklist and then some other appropriate person review it and sign off on it. Your outside auditors will usually want to review it also.
