Our company's health insurance plan expires 9/1/13, we received a waiver this year for the annual limits.
It looks like we can apply for another waiver at 9/1/13 for one more year. The cost to comply will more than likely result in higher premiums or lower benefits, so we meet that rule.
My question: because our new plan year begins prior to 1/1/14 (actual date is 9/1/13), can we in fact apply for another waiver extension that will push thru 9/1/14? If so, where do i locate the extension form to complete?
If not, how are other small companies, more than 50 FTE and less than 1000 FTE dealing with this increased cost?
