I am looking for examples and copies of SAAS contracts/agreements and a summary that covers the best practices in developing SAAS agreements. Appreciate any help and suggestions. thanks Don

Don,

A little hard to answer in a vacuum, what you business is, sales model, etc.

That being said...
I keep a few templates on hand, then;
I periodically review the contracts from companies I buy from to see if they are doing anything differently, and;
Check with my legal counsel periodically regarding any changes in law, or more frequently if I see something or if a customer asks, and;
Check with my accountants at least annually to tie the contracts to the rev-rec rules.
