Has anyone had experience outsourcing manufacturing to Mexico under a Maquila program? If so, what was your experience and do you have any recommendations, concerns, etc.?

Hi Rick,
I have had significant experience with outsourcing manufacturing to Mexico and other low cost countries. It depends upon the manufacturing expertises you require. Many facilities exist in Tijuana and in Juarez. You would probably want to start with a contractor but, after you are comfortable, you can do it on your own. I can recommend some contacts for this if you need them.
