Hey folks, I'm a CPA and looking for a CPE provider. There are a dizzying number of CPE providers out there and I was looking at a few and noticed that they all had content from Delta Publishing. So I did a search for Delta Publishing to see if they had their own CPE site where I could get all of their courses, and I found a strange "black hole" around that company. Googling "DELTA PUBLISHING COMPANY. P.O. Box 5332. Los Alamitos, CA 90721-5332" brought up all sorts of Delta publishing CPE materials but it was all old, and I wanted up to date CPE. Then I noticed that a bunch of sites, that were sort of cookie cutter looking, all had the same Delta courses, all built by one guy who was a CPA decades ago, and both he and Delta seem uncontactable online. Sites like mypescpe, cpe247, mastercpe, cpedepot, onthegocpe and others. These all look like bargain-basement versions of more legit sites like the AICPA, Surgent and Illumeo. Have people taken these courses and are they legit? Any issues with your state societies receiving credit? It's just so odd that all of these online CPE platforms use the same exact courses, all of which are written content only, and any of which I can find online have copyright dates from the last decade. Before I try one of these providers, I would love some validation (or not). Thanks.

You sort of answered your own question... if it quacks like a duck....
You mentioned "AICPA, Surgent and Illumeo". I like Illumeo (because I have four courses there) .. plug plug.... . But really, go where you know that a) you'll get a quality course and b) the CPE (or other Cont Ed credits) will and are accepted by the organization that records taking the courses.
Professionals Publishing Group, a division of CPE Solutions, LLC is where I e been doing online CPE for years.
Hi Anonymous, Proformative offers free CPE credit through the majority of our webinars. The CPE credits are accredited through NASBA. You can browse the webinars under the "Webinars" tab.
