Are you looking for something that handles project mgmt/resource mgmt/billing etc etc including financials and project/client profitability?
Len's question is right on. There are N! applications out there, but there may be single-digits that integrate with your other systems.
For Xero; WorkflowMax is aligned pretty closely to what you're asking. Last I implemented for a client, Harvest came very close (was good for them, and could be enough for you).
But if you are a Dynamics or SF or NetSuite user...the list can be very different.

We use NetSuite as our GL and Host for our EPM. I'm not looking to integrate or leverage these systems as (a) not a great deal of info I need from those systems (b) they tend to be far too costly and (c) I'm not looking for anything too complicated. Stand-alone cloud based project/resource management software seems to be the best solution.
Wrike It has all three of your requirements: task management, calendar, and proofing. It is detailed-attentive and extremely collaborative. What I like most from it is, it has the unique 3-pane view that lets you see the big picture for the day, then your task details and what’s going on generally with the team via the activity stream on the far right side.

There are tools that are designed primarily for proofing. Expectedly, they’re more comprehensive in this area that, say, the fully integrated apps like Wrike. But that’s the only thing they do mostly, so you’ll need another app for task management and calendar. If this seems to work for you, I recommend ProofHQ.
