My company is selecting a PSA solutions -- we're primarily looking at FinancialForce, SciForma, and KeyedIn Projects. Does anyone have experience with those systems and comments on basic functionality? Any of those that you would recommend or warn away from?

There are a few ways to handle PSA issues. What's the structure of the business? Is it Fixed cost billing, Milestone, etc.How long are the typical projects: 3 weeks, 3 months, 3 years? Knowing how you plan to track and bill for the services would help determine which solution is best. There are some inexpensive systems out there that have some good basic functionality others are geared towards long term project
Open Air from NetSuite will do the job and handle all the variations of time and expense tracking.
Intacct is a financial management solution that offers best of breed capabilities, including for professional services firms. It also integrates well with other best of breed PSA extensions/partners, depending on what your firm may need.
