Need recommendation for a business valuation specialist/firm who can assist potential buyer with analysis of a small busines (<$1M in revenues) related in the healthcare/hospitality industry. Try Teknos (http://www.teknosassociates.com/index.htm) Associates. I have worked with the principal there, Jim Timmins, for valuations and he is very good and reasonably priced and yes, he does smaller company valuation projects as well as more "traditional" valuation work.

When someone asks for referrals, such as what Liz did in the topic above, please do not promote yourself as the solution to the entire community. I realize there may be some confusion on this point because this is one of the areas where people who genuinely belong in the community happen to also be service providers. That's great - we welcome all F. A. & T. practitioners. But when someone asks for referrals, the most effective form of endorsement is from one service user to another, like what Bryan did above, recommending a provider he has used in the past.
