Replacing BigTime with Integrated Project Management, Time Tracking & Invoicing Application
Answers
Have you looked at Quickbooks time tracking for consulting firms? In addition to Quickbooks payroll services, many payroll firms provide integrated interfaces with Quickbooks.
Thanks for the suggestion. While I know that BigTime's website claims seamless integration with Quickbooks, we've been experiencing an increasing number of integration problems that, even with BigTime's support, cannot be resolved. (BigTime's customer support is not the best.) Unless there's something that BigTime has that Quickbooks time tracking does not, I'll take a closer look at Quickbooks.
It's not clear from your post whether you are using a version that integrates with Quickbooks. Big Time's website claims:
" BigTime snaps right on to QuickBooks. No need to reconfigure!
BigTime is built from the ground up to integrate seamlessly with QuickBooks. All of your invoices, your time and expense information, your clients and your employees are quickly and seamlessly integrated.
We've been a premier member of the QuickBooks community for years, and are currently one of only a handful of QuickBooks Gold Certified Developers. Take a look at our recorded videos to see how easy it is to get started."
Is there perhaps an integration feature that you are not using? I'd challenge Big Time to explain to you how their other clients do this...and I also think using Quickbooks Payroll may also reduce some of your system handoffs.
