What would you like to see covered in salesforce
After you describe what you want, how do you want the online training
1) lecture (
2) animated video
3) live human video with explicit examples
4) other and let us know what that is

I hate to admit it, but one course that would really help me would be an overview of salesforce capabilities (of which I know very little). I’d like to know salesforce fundamentals and strategy for campaign and lead
I’d just like to get started with an understanding of what it can do. For instance, I know that it can keep a list of accounts always clean no duplicates and then rank leads by how qualified they are and do drip campaigns, but that is about the extent of my admittedly spotty knowledge of it. A good follow-on course would be a salesforce step-by-step from scratch kind of thing where one would learn exactly how to get started. Finally, maybe a more in-depth session with more detail on the analytics side of things and more advanced features. Okay, that’s my request. Make it happen, Wayne!
Salesforce even has a certification program to show people you took their training and have hands-on experience. There are seven different certified credentials someone could check out. I think the type of training would need to be focused, much like how Salesforce already does.
Considering the large majority of people on Proformative are finance and consultants, I think it would be best to focus on administrating Salesforce and implementing the program.
Building reports and dashboards would be beneficial. Not only building but being able to interpret the information it gives back. Knowing how to build and read reports has helped me understand information flow when I built custom reports for Sage 300 and FRx (which is no longer supported).
Would you offer users a nice, shiny certificate with a fancy designation?
