I agree with Gerry, we also use ZohoCRM, it is very powerful. It is a fraction of the monthly cost of Salesforce.com.
Believe it or not we went with a very inexpensive solution in implementing Microsoft Dynamics. This has worked well and our sales force says it has made them more efficient.

Heard great reviews about Microsoft Dynamics CRM. They are competing very well with SalesForce. It is not that expensive, has a great layout and features and very intuitive. Our sales team really love it....
