Is there any Certification related to merger and acquisation?

CM&AA (Certified M&A Advisor) is a 5-day boot camp offered by AM&AA (Alliance of M&A Advisors, www.AMAAonline.org). AMAA has 1000+members in 20+ countries; all involved with deal making. CM&AA attendees need to have higher education and/or relevant experience. It is offered 4 to 5 times a year in partnership with universities like DePaul, Thunderbird, Pepperdine, Loyola, etc. CM&AA focuses on middle market M&A (market overview, M&A process, valuation, financing, value growth, tax, legal, corp. M&A). Typical attendees are deal makers, corporate executives, CPAs, attorneys, consultants, etc. To date, 700+ have graduated with CM&AA. I am president of the advisory board of AM&AA and teach valuation in CM&AA.

If you are interested in post-merger integration for large companies the, you should look into CMAS (Certified M&A Specialist) offered by MALC (M&A Leadership Council, www.MACouncil.org). I was on its advisory board in the early days.

M& Source (www.MAsource.org), a division of IBBA, International Business Brokers Association (www.IBBA.org) has recently started offering Certified M&A Professional program. They had one class so far.

All of these are on-site programs. M&A is a broad space; you learn a lot more from class interaction. There may be online certification programs, but I don't know any. Some have tried unsuccessfully.
