what is the best source to learn about quickbooks?

Given the low low price, just purchase it and play... For the life of me, with the exception of price, it seems to be the package of choice, much to the disadvantage of many of its users.

Their is a difference between a bookkeeper, an accountant and a CFO. IMHO, QB is the junior bookkeeper of the marketplace, has it niche, exceeds at its niche, but is not the package of choice outside that niche.

Think in terms of a company that should have an accountant in a supervisory/managerial role who only has bookkeepers, and not full-charge bookkeepers at that. Our CFO/CPA treatment would be to tell the companies ownership to hire the right level of person.

So why do we acquiesce to QB?
