Hello, We have a current deferred rent schedule we use to book rent expense and amortize the deferred rent. Recently we have signed an extension/amendment to the lease to extend the term another 5 years. Any ideas on when the deferred rent schedule should be updated to reflect the new contract/amendment? When the new amendment was signed? When the new amendment term begins? Sometime in between? Thanks in advance for the input.
